UPCOMING CONCERTS: DENMARK / NICARAGUA / USA
DENMARK – at the end of march, Colijn will play in Denmark again – performing solo in Aalborg, and the Colijn Buis Quartet will return at fa!rbar, Aarhus on march 30 (with a.o. Kristoffer Lysgaard on drums and Asger Jakobsen guitar) – great to be back!
NICARAGUA TOUR – Colijn will travel to Nicaragua to do a music exchange with Nicaraguan musicians – great news: april 11 he will play with Carlos Mejía Godoy, one of Nicaragua’s most famous musicians – see this video. More dates are coming up – many thanks to Charlotte at the Embassy of The Netherlands!
USA – in the US, we will be in New York City and Los Angeles – also to hear the Clare Fischer Latin Jazz Big Band, who just won a Grammy Award for 2013’s ‘BEST LATIN JAZZ ALBUM‘ ‘¡Ritmo!’ – check it out here
